這些名詞均有“種、類、類型”之意。kind: 指性質(zhì)相同，而且特征很相似，足以歸為一類的人或東西。
sort: 普通用詞，文體較kind隨便，指對人或?qū)κ挛镞M(jìn)行的大概分類，有時含貶義。
type: 指客觀界限比較清楚，有相同本質(zhì)特點(diǎn)的同類事物，或指大致相似的同類事物。
